'미쳤어'로 한창 주가를 올리고 있는 가수 손담비가 29일 방송되는 SBS '가요대전'에서 5인조 여성그룹 '애프터 스쿨'에 합류해 첫 무대에 오른다.

이날 '가요대전'에서 손담비는 '미쳤어' 노래와 함께 5인조 여성그룹 '애프터 스쿨'의 노래인 '플레이 걸즈'(Play girlz)를 부를 예정으로 눈길을 끌고 있다.

5인조 여성그룹 '애프터 스쿨'은 손담비와 같은 소속사로 2년 동안 준비한 신인 그룹. 소속사 측에 의하면 '이제까지 보지 못했던 진정한 '푸시캣 돌스' 콘셉트의 기대주'라고 전하며 기대감을 감추지 못하고 있다.

한 편 '애프터 스쿨'은 내년 1월 데뷔를 목표로 하고 있으며, YG 엔터테인먼트에서 준비 중인 '시스타'(SISta) 역시 비슷한 시기에 데뷔할 것으로 알려져 원더걸스-소녀시대 이후의 또 다른 여성그룹 라이벌 구도를 그릴 예정으로 큰 관심을 모으고 있다.

the other 4 girls are current trainees at her record company.
The company says it will be a similar 'concept' to Pussycat Dolls,
they're called 'After School'.
They'll be performing their song Play Girlz (LOL!) at SBS music awards on the 29th (OR sondambi will be singing the new song alone. not sure, they worded it weird )

People are expecting a rivalry/competition/attention between After School & Sista (YG) due to the similar debut date, similar to that between Wonder Girls & SNSD last year!

anyway, dont you think korea has enough girl groups? o__o

i mean there's Wonder Girls, SNSD, Brown eyed Girls, Jewelry, Kara...and now YG is producing "SISTA", SMTOWN is planning on producing a girl version of SHINee, there's also another girl group thats said to be the girl version of F.T.Island thats going to debut next year too...and I think there's also talk of a Fin K.L. reunion? o__o

and LOL im going on and on about how there's so many girl groups...just imagine how many boy groups korea has had through the years ;) haha
i mean they even have their own 13 member boyband. eat your heart out Johnny. the best he can come up with is just 10 and their composed of almost adolescent boys ;)

i love dambi and all but yeah i cant help but be skeptical :\

Son Dam Bi is i think better off as a solo artist but if you think about it Dambi being IN a girl group is enough publicity as it is.
